For the last 100 years, improving our communities has been a central value at AT&T. We’re honored to continue that commitment by partnering with FirstNet to build and manage America’s first high-speed wireless broadband network dedicated to our nation’s first responders. This is a major step forward for public safety and for the broadband network our state’s first responders have fought for and deserve. I am also honored to announce today that in the last year, 5.4 million hours of volunteer service were logged by our employees company-wide! As part of National Volunteer Month, we’re celebrating the dedication of 7 of my coworkers in District of Columbia who have received the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) for 2016. Thank you to these passionate employees and to all who continue to make our communities better.
