City of Rehoboth Beach Transforms First Responder Communications with FirstNet

The City of Rehoboth is connecting its police officers, public works, emergency management and other first responders to FirstNet – a new communications platform just for public safety.

FirstNet is built with AT&T in a public-private partnership with the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet Authority). It’s designed with and for public safety.

“We took action when first responders said they needed better tools to keep their communities – and themselves – out of harm’s way. FirstNet will help first responders in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and across the country perform at the highest levels,” said Denis Dunn, president, AT&T in Delaware. “We’re honored to play a part in that transformation and applaud the City of Rehoboth Beach for helping to lead the way.”
