AT&T is empowering teens to rise above online negativity through the #LaterHaters campaign. Because, let’s face it, between perfect 'grams and snaps, it’s easy to forget the power we hold in the palm of our hands.
“We hope teens will not only say ‘later haters’ to online hate, but also flip the conversation to one that’s positive,” said Beth Shiroishi, vice president, Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy, AT&T.
Parents can encourage their children to check out the program and follow the hashtag #LaterHaters on Instagram. We’ve also developed a Parent Guide that offers context and tips for talking with our youth about online behavior, specifically how to help kids protect their reputation and look out for online abuse.
