AT&T Pioneers Spend Time with Virginia Seniors on Valentine’s Day

For many people, Valentine’s Day is about spending time with loved ones. For many seniors, however, the day can be very lonely. Members of the AT&T retiree volunteer network, AT&T Pioneers, understand this, so on Valentine’s Day 2017, they spent the day with seniors in Fairfax County.

A group of AT&T Pioneers visited the Fairfax Nursing Home to spread some love during the home’s Valentine’s Day celebration. The Pioneers distributed “blessing bags” filled with valentines and other gifts to around 175 residents at the facility.

The AT&T Pioneers is the world’s largest group of industry-specific employees and retirees dedicated to community service. Pioneers volunteer more than 15 million hours annually, responding to the individual needs of their communities.
