A team of AT&T employees spent a cold December morning in Georgetown. They were not in the neighborhood to enjoy a hot cup of peppermint cocoa at the famous Dog Tag Bakery (which by the way it’s delicious), instead they spent the morning helping package the bakery’s holiday gift boxes.
Dog Tag Bakery’s “unique program helps veterans, their spouses, and caregivers become business ready by giving them the opportunity to earn a certificate in business administration from Georgetown University and gain experience running a small business through our bakery.”
Earlier this year, AT&T held a screening for its original documentary, RESOLUTION, at the AT&T Forum in Washington, D.C. The documentary highlights organizations that focus on empowering people with disabilities. One such organization is Georgetown's own Dog Tag, Inc. Read more here.
