AT&T employees prepare and deliver meals in DC

As part of AT&T’s Do One Thing initiative, Team Joyce -- a group of AT&T mobility employees from the DMV - teamed up with graduates of DC Central Kitchen’s Culinary Job Training program to help prepare and deliver nutritious meals to local DC residents in need.

With the help of volunteers like these AT&T employees, DC Central Kitchen, the nation’s leading community kitchen, is able to prepare and deliver more than 5,000 meals to partner homeless shelters, rehabilitation clinics, hallway houses, and afterschool programs each day.

While Team Joyce was hard at work preparing meals for the day, DCW50 paid a visit and interviewed Ryan Joyce and Aaron Katz from AT&T about their volunteer efforts.

The story ran on DCW News at 10 Thursday night as part of the station’s ‘DCW Heroes’ segment. Watch it here.
