AT&T Debuts New Retail Store Design in Philadelphia

Designed for an Evolution in Connected Entertainment

AT&T* debuted a new nearly 3,500 square foot entertainment-focused retail store in Philadelphia. We designed the store to help customers get their hands on the entertainment content they want anytime, anywhere and on any device.

The new store design reflects the changing ways our customers use their mobile devices for entertainment. In the last year alone, video traffic on our network grew over 75%. In our new store, you can interact with content across many different screens and find the best video, internet and wireless options available from AT&T. This unique store joins our lineup of more than 5,300 AT&T owned and authorized retail stores nationwide.

“It’s a great day when we can celebrate more business investment in our city,” said City Councilman Mark Squilla of the First District. “Not only is there an incredible cool factor at this new store, but is also means a continued commitment by AT&T to Philadelphia and its citizens.”

“Shoppers at our new Philadelphia store will have an interactive experience that fits their mobile lifestyle and meets their entertainment needs anywhere, anytime,” said Judy Cavalieri, vice president and general manager, AT&T Ohio/Pennsylvania . “We want to provide an exceptional experience, and we’ve been working hard to take our stores and network to a new level here in Philadelphia.”

Some key features of the new store format are:

  • Entertainment, everywhere. Our new stores illustrate the intersection of content and connection. We train our reps to show how services, like DIRECTV and DIRECTV NOW and products can add value to your connected life.
  • Smartphones and more. We’ve moved the phones off the walls to the center of the store to make it easier to compare and choose what’s best for you. We also have two focus areas to show the most popular brands that have products like AR glasses, tablets or smartwatches that work with your smartphone. We expanded our lineup of accessories, and we’ve made them easier to find.
  • A comfortable experience. We’ve designed these stores for you to have a personal connection with our reps and services. And we know selecting a phone, plan and sometimes adding TV and home broadband to your list takes longer than grabbing a shirt off the rack. So we added comfortable areas where you and our reps can work together.

The new store in Philadelphia is located at 1100 East Market Street. The hours of operation are: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday.
