AT&T recently contributed $25,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City to help fund the Atlantic City STEM Initiative. The Initiative offers opportunities for underserved high school students to explore STEM-related careers, acquire technology skills and participate in tutoring and a variety of college preparation activities.
“Thanks to the support of AT&T, our teens are learning 21st Century skills by engaging in Computer Programming, Web Design, Coding, Software Utilization and Job Shadowing with local technology professionals. Partnerships like this one with AT&T allows the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City to provide our members with the necessary tools to become responsible, productive and caring citizens,” said Michelle Carrera, CEO, Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City.
